Ratio Gauntlets

Epic Armoury’s Ratio Gauntlets are a set of steel gloves designed to provide maximal protection in combat without compromising maneuverability. From knuckles to the forearm, you can expect these gauntlets to keep you safe. Each gauntlet protects the knuckles with a rigid, sculpted knuckle plate. A short vambrace attaches to the hand plates with a thick piece of leather, protecting the wrist up the forearm. The back of the hand and the thumb are protected with overlapping steel plates fitted onto a leather foundation. Secure the gauntlet onto the hand by sliding the fingers through the leather loop around the hand, and tighten its heavy leather straps around the wrist and two around the forearm to keep the armor in place.

The Ratio Gauntlets are fully usable with other Epic Armoury metal products, giving you the freedom to customize your character’s costume. Made of 1 mm thick galvanized mild steel and top-grain leather straps and fittings, this armor piece is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armor care.
