Leg Protection Dark Drake
Epic Armoury’s Dark Drake Leg Protection is a set of metal ‘demi-greaves’ shaped to protect the shins. Rounded at the edges and decorated with scale-like ridges, these demi-greaves are designed to sit comfortably over the shins while leaving room for poleyns to cover the kneecaps. They reach from below the knee and narrow around the ankles, secured with a top-grain leather straps below the knee and another above the ankles. The armor is made from rolled mild steel treated with Epic Armoury’s Epic Dark Metal coat, which gives the armor a rugged, antique finish.
The Dark Drake Leg Protection is designed to match Epic Armoury’s Dark Drake Armour, but is fully usable with other Epic Armoury metal products, giving you the freedom to customize your character’s costume. Made of 1 mm thick galvanized mild steel and top-grain leather straps and fittings, this armor piece is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armor care.
