Epic Armoury’s Char-a'ina Epic Dark is a simple low-fantasy, historically based piece of armor protecting the front and back of the torso and abdomen, that has its origin in Persia, modern day Iran. Using four plates, one on the front, back and sides, the Char-a'ina held together by full grain straps that crisscross across your back and can be tightened and loosened between your sides.
The large blank areas on the Char-a'ina is perfect for those of you who wishes to add a personal engraving to your armor, as this was also a historical tendency for those who wore it, during its heyday.
The Char-a'ina is was historically, used in conjunction with chain mails or chain shirts. Made of 1 mm thick mild steel and top-grain leather straps and fittings, this armor piece is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armor care.
