Berserker Helmet
Berserker Helmet
Epic Armoury’s Berserker Helmet is an enclosed helmet designed to protect the entire head while intimidating enemies on the battlefield. The Berserker Helmet’s fixed nose and cheek guard gives the resemblance of a snarling animal muzzle, reinforced by the glaring eye slits in the faceguard. A lot of detail has gone into this helmet, including hammered rivets and ventilation around the mouth.
Secure the Epic Dark Berserker Helmet by tightening the leather strap beneath the chin, keeping the helmet in place. Made of 1 mm thick galvanized mild steel and top-grain leather straps and fittings, this armor piece is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armor care.
- Available in sizes M and L
- This helmet comes with a leather fitting and a loose foam band for internal adjusting
HISTORY
- Considered to be a type of enclosed helmet worn in the late 12th- to 13th-centuries
- Evolved from the nasal helm
- Often worn over a mail coif and padding to absorb force of blows
